Randeep qualified as a doctor and trained as a vascular surgeon for eight years in the NHS. He then joined a hedge fund (Tudor Capital) where he covered healthcare and technology stocks for over a decade. Subsequent roles at ICAP, F&C Asset Management and Trium involved broader coverage and also working as a portfolio manager.

Randeep chaired the board of Bellevue Healthcare Trust plc, a London premium listed FTSE 250 investment company. In addition, he has been an active investor in technology and healthcare startups over two decades – both professionally and personally. He is a member of the Cambridge Angels and a mentor on the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme and at Level 39 (a fintech incubator in Canary Wharf). He also occasionally lectures at the University of Cambridge MPhil in Bioscience Enterprise (MBE) programme.

Randeep currently chairs the board of Monks Investment Trust and is on the board of Global Smaller Companies Trust.
